Bihar State Khadi Gramodyog Board (BSKGB) expects a rise in its turnover once its seven-storey building being constructed in Patna is ready by July 2019, according to its Chief Executive Officer BN Prasad. The new building, for which the State sanctioned Rs. 24 cr in 2016, is being constructed behind the existing one, which is also being renovated.

The first three floors of the new building will be used for selling a variety of khadi products like clothes, accessories, beauty herbal and edible items. The building will also host training and manufacturing units, a report in a business daily quoted Prasad as saying. The centre in the new building will impart training in raw material processing, washing and dyeing, designing, cutting, stitching, branding, marketing and packaging.
