“There is an inverted duty structure in the textile industry which leads to accumulation of input tax credit for the textile manufacturing units. We would like the Government to allow the cash refund of such credit accumulated till date. Additionally, the effective implementation of the various inventive schemes announced by the government for the textile industry is the need of the hour. All sanctioned but pending subsidies/grants under the existing TUF schemes could be disbursed to improve the liquidity for the industry.”
