The 28th edition of the Garment Technology Expo (GTE 2019) which runs from February 22-25, 2019 at the NSIC Exhibition Complex, Okhla, New Delhi will see a rich mix of technologies on garment stitching and processing on display from around 800 brands and companies.
The previous GTE edition held in 2018 saw 19,876 trade visitors at the exhibition. They came in unprecedented large numbers from Jaipur, Surat, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Indore, Tirupur, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Panipat, Meerut, Varanasi, Kolkata, Agra as well as overseas nations like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Myanmar, etc.
The main attraction for the huge visitor numbers is the opportunity to see the all the latest technologies related to garment production under one platform. This edition of GTE will see among exhibitors, renowned companies from across the textile and apparel value chain exhibiting like, HCA, IIGM, Magnum, Mehala, ALT, Ramsons, Juki, Brother, Pegasus, Tukatech, E.H.Turel, Baba Textiles, Richpeace, INL International, Zoje Sewing Machines Co. Ltd., Dürkopp Adler AG, Dhaval Colour Chem, Narinder International, etc. Live demonstration of machinery will be put up by many exhibitors. GTE has always been an integral trade platform cum showcase for these companies, when launching new technologies and equipment.
Technologies on show include, CAD / CAM, sewing machines, knitting machines, embroidery machines, digital textile printing, laundry machines, quilting machines, fusing machines, finishing equipment, spreading & cutting machines, printing & packaging machines, hot air seam sealing machines, fancy yarn machines, dyeing machines, dyes, fabrics, fancy yarns, non-woven bag making machine, software solutions, spares & attachments, accessories & trims, testing equipment, support services, etc.
One of the show visitors, Manoj Arora, AGM at Bharat Loomtex Pvt Ltd, Panipat too said, “We are producers of home textiles and have been visiting GTE since the last several editions. At GTE last year, we came saw latest technologies like camera mounted laser cutting machine, flying engraving, sequence printing through sublimation printing, etc. and bought some of those. We are hoping to witness more technological innovations this year too.”
