RSWM Limited, the flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, showcased its growing commitment to sustainable growth by launching its Sustainability Report 2024-25. Released jointly by Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman & Managing Director and CEO and Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director, the report highlights record achievements in environmental stewardship, circularity, and responsible resource management.
In FY2024-25, RSWM reported significant milestones, including the conservation of 22.3 lakh kilolitres of water through zero liquid discharge and wastewater reuse. The company consumed 101.76 million kW of renewable energy from solar and wind, achieving a 33% green energy mix. Circularity efforts led to the recycling of 6.5 million PET bottles daily, integrating 38,270 MT of recycled polyester and 11,674 MT of organic cotton into yarn and fabric production.
Additionally, 14,714 MT of biofuels replaced coal in boilers, with plans to transition all manufacturing boilers to biofuels by FY2026. Soil health was supported by the use of 91,611 kg of organic manure across production facilities.
RSWM’s sustainability initiatives are guided by the Panchtatva framework, inspired by the five elements: Agni (fire/clean energy), Prithvi (earth/regenerative resources), Jal (water conservation), Vayu (wind/clean air), and Akash (sky/circularity). This framework underpins responsible practices across all operations. Speaking on the report, Riju Jhunjhunwala said, “At RSWM, sustainability is both a responsibility and an opportunity to drive purposeful growth. Guided by Panchtatva, we turn challenges into opportunities through innovation and nature-conscious initiatives. Our philosophy is simple: we only take what we can give back.”
Rajeev Gupta added, “We continue to integrate sustainability into every process from water management and renewable energy to circularity and zero liquid discharge ensuring measurable impact. Our goal is to embed sustainability across all levels of the organization.”
On the social front, RSWM’s CSR initiatives reached 2.44 lakh beneficiaries in FY25. The company also continued efforts to promote workforce diversity, enhance women’s participation in leadership, and maintain ethical governance with zero cases of corruption.
RSWM’s commitment to sustainability is further validated by its global ESG certifications, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, SA 8000:2014, OHSAS 18001, Global Recycle Standard (GRS), OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Organic Content Standard (OCS), and BCI membership.
